Tyreek Hill savaged Giants WR over Daniel Jones contract

Tyreek Hill, wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, was the latest NFL quarterback to pitch to New York Giants QB Daniel Jones for his new contract.
Daniel Jones signed a four-year, $160 million contract extension just before the franchise’s label deadline on Tuesday. While that sounds like a lot of money – and it is – there are a few catches. First, only $82 million is guaranteed upon signing, so Jones will have to earn the rest with his game.
Second, the Giants have the possibility of an exit in his deal after the 2025 season, when Jones will turn 28. In the end, New York believed in his quarterback enough to assume that he would continue to improve until then.
Jones’ contract is not an indictment of the player himself, but the most recent quarterback deal ever. Derek Carr and Jones shouldn’t be setting the market. Although Deshaun Watson is talented, he shouldn’t be the highest paid QB in football given his past transgressions off the field. Something is off here.
Dolphin WR Tyrek Hill Shadows of the Giants QB Daniel Jones
Tyreek Hill shared the beef between Darius Slayton and Jaquan Brisker, who play the Giants and Bears with respect. Slayton scored the final score of the match between the two teams starting last season, in which New York defeated Chicago, 20-12. That’s not an impressive offensive output, but a win is a win.
That’s when Hill got involved and made a very similar point.
Tyreek doesn’t discriminate – he has no problem with those Tua slashes because he can take them home in record timing.
Unless the NFL establishes stricter contract guidelines, the QB market is likely to continue to increase. There is such an emphasis on passing and midfield play in this generation of football, and until that changes, Price won’t either.
