March Madness first four teams scored: Furthest a team has ever gone to the NCAA Tournament
Stephon Gilmore was traded to the Cowboys by the Colts in a big move for Dallas. Trade scores for both teams in this big deal.
Dallas Cowboys fans often bemoan that Jerry Jones doesn’t do anything in the off-season. That changed on Tuesday.
Not only did the team retain safety Donovan Wilson in free agency, but they added another key piece to the secondary in a trade with the Indianapolis Colts, landing former NFL Player of the Year Stefon Gilmore, NFL Network’s Tom Bellisero reports.
Let’s break down the trade scores for the Cowboys and Colts in this trade after we look at the trade-off details.
Trade details Stefon Gilmour: Cowboys send third-day pick to Colts
According to Bellisero’s report, Dallas is only giving up a fifth-round compensatory pick in a trade to Gilmour. That’s pretty cheap draft compensation, especially for a team loaded with third-day picks in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Cowboys Commercial Grade: Dallas gets the CB help it needs in Stephon Gilmore
Finding a cornerback to pair with Trayvon Diggs who could be trusted with coverage was a big need for the Cowboys this season. Gilmore may not be a certified superstar anymore, but it certainly fulfills that need and is affordable for Dallas.

Colts trade score: Indianapolis is taking back whatever value it can give Stefon Gilmore
Considering what they traded Gilmour for, the Colts will probably cut cornerback this season if they can’t find a trade to be made. Even if he’s just a late 5th-ranked player, something is better than nothing, which means he’s an overall favourite, even if it’s not overwhelming.
