NFL rumors: Insider reveals Odell Beckham Jr.’s four biggest suitors

There are a few suitors who could be in the mix to sign Odell Beckham Jr. in free agency.
Having missed all of last year due to injury, Odell Beckham Jr will soon sign here.
While Beckham’s days of getting massive, multi-year contracts may be over due to his history of injuries, he can still deliver a competitive franchise with great value and production on any receiving team.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz of The Score reported Saturday afternoon that the Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets are in Peckham.
All four franchises are definitely playoff-standard and could use the Beckhams in their receiving rooms.
The #Chiefs, #Ravens, #Cowboys, and #Jets have been Odell Beckham Jr.’s most active pursuers.
Plus, Ezekiel Elliott is still a very valuable running back (he’s only 27 years old!)

Let’s discuss which of these four teams makes the most sense to add Beckham in his free agency.
NFL rumours: Odell Beckham Jr. Great interest from these four teams
At this point in his career, Beckham can pick and choose where he wants to go. Signing a huge deal with one franchise doesn’t serve him well because he can’t afford to be tied down somewhere he doesn’t really belong, like the former Cleveland Browns. Let’s assess whether the Ravens, Cowboys, Chiefs or Jets would be the best fit for Beckham in his high-profile free agency.
Baltimore is a well-run organization, but when was the Ravens a place for receivers to go and thrive? Beckham might be able to get him to work with Lamar Jackson in Baltimore, but the idea of that partnership is probably better than the real one. It’s possible that Beckham will join a playoff team in Baltimore, but until we can better understand what Jackson does, that’s okay…
Dallas makes sense for many reasons. There is no bigger brand in football than the Cowboys. Beckham previously starred in the division with the New York Giants. Dak Prescott is certainly able to get the ball to Beckham with more regularity. This is also a team that should be in the mix to represent the NFC at next year’s Super Bowl. However, there is no hiding place for the Cowboys.
Kansas City is probably the best place for Beckham to win right now, and he does so prolifically. Chiefs are not going anywhere. They’ll have a great chance to repeat as Super Bowl champions. Patrick Mahomes will certainly be able to get the ball for him. Beckham would also be a great addition for the Chiefs to make up for the loss of JuJu Smith-Schuster to the New England Patriots.
New York is only suitable if Aaron Rodgers goes there 100%. The planes would be the ultimate lightning rod and content machine. I’m not sure how many games they’ll win, but they’ll be a better football team with Rodgers connected to Beckham. We should also point out that Beckham has absolutely no fear of playing in the largest US media market ever.
In the end, Baltimore is the worst of the bunch. Unless the crows pay him more, don’t go there. New York can be fun, but this can also be toxic as hell. Frankly, Dallas and Kansas City make more sense when it comes to branding and competitive purposes. If the Cowboys or Chiefs are willing to bring in a star wide receiver for the No. 2 star, maybe they can make a deal?
Beckham will return to the league next season and is expected to sign with a major competitor.
