Kelsey Plum savages Josh McDaniels after Raiders trade husband, Darren Waller

After Darren Waller was traded to the New York Giants, Waller’s wife, Kelsey Bloom, made a sarcastic comment about Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels.

Las Vegas Raiders coach Josh McDaniels has so far suffered two humbling defeats in his career – the first being his pathetic 6-11 record in the 2022 season. The second being brutalized by Kelsey Bloom, wife of Darren Waller.

The trade of Darren Waller has thrilled the Tri-State region given how little the New York Giants can give up the Stars’ tight end. The trade also carried major ramifications for Waller’s personal life, as it meant that Waller had to live across the country from his newly married wife, Kelsey Bloom on Las Vegas Ice.

The athletic power couple tied the knot a week and a half ago, and according to rumors, the McDaniels accidentally leaked news of Waller’s wedding to reporters at the combine. This was the first part of the cookie to crumble.

Then, when Waller was traded on Tuesday during the NFL’s legal free agency juggling period, a critic made a joke about how McDaniels hadn’t been “romantic” since moving Waller to New York as a heartbreaking “wedding gift.”

Bloom responded to the trade by saying that McDaniel may have been salty because he wasn’t invited to the wedding in the first place:

Darren Waller’s trade infuriates Kelsey Bloom, making Josh McDaniels look like a joy killer

Waller barely played a single season under the McDaniels and was an injured reserve most of the time, so it makes sense why Waller didn’t invite the Raiders coach to his wedding.

The 30-year-old is hoping to make a fresh start in New York, the third team of his career. Waller would leave football’s most competitive division to go to…..arguably the second most competitive team, competing against the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys.

In any event, Waller would have his wife by his side figuratively rather than literally, and he could blame the McDaniels for any problems the trade might cause his marriage.

Stranded romantics across the league root for Waller and Plum to make their marriage work at a distance. Frustrated optimists New York Giants fans are rooting for Waller to fully recover from his hamstring injury and return to the elite level in 2019 and 2020, when he was recording 1,000-yard receiving seasons.

As for killjoy Josh McDaniels, he has his own offensive issues to work with freshman quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo under the center position for 2023.

We’re only two days into free agency (technically, the legal juggling period), and there is bound to be more drama to come.
