Jalen Carter police stop video revealed: Everything to know

Footage of former Georgia star Jalen Carter while being pulled over by police has surfaced.

The police-stop video of Jalen Carter from behind in late September will hurt the former Georgia star’s NFL stock in some capacity.

No, this is not footage of the tragic events that occurred at Barnett Shoals just hours after midnight the day after the championship parade in Athens. Carter fled the scene of the accident that claimed the lives of Chandler Lecroy and Devin Willock. This police stop video is from September 22nd. Carter was pulled over by police for doing an 89 in a 45 mph zone. He wasn’t caught, but he still is.

Carter is a generational talent at defensive tackle, but let’s hope he avoids derailing his NFL career.

Apparently the police officer who stopped Carter told him he wouldn’t take him to jail because he didn’t want to break the news.

Not to say Carter is out of the top 10, but the Atlanta Falcons might just edge him out for eighth…

The Galen Carter police stop video is another red flag in his downward spiral stock

look. I’m nowhere near a general manager, but I still go with him if I need a star defensive back and my team has picks inside the top ten. I can totally understand how that can be off limits to some teams. However, I would rather have the next Ndamukong Suh play for my team than against my team. Regardless, I want nothing but the best for him, but he needs to stop speeding.

We can only hope that the fateful night in Athens changed Carter’s life for the better. If he learns from his mistakes, we’re looking for Hall of Fame-level talent to enter the NFL. Carter was the MVP on the best team in the country. It would be a shame if reckless driving could quickly put an end to this. He’ll have first-round money, so he can get a driver and focus on the important things.

To put all of this in perspective, it’s not really about football. I just want a buddy Doug who meant so much to Georgia to be safe and live a good life. While this encounter with police occurred months before the tragic accident in January, Carter did not seem to take his speeding issues seriously. Not everyone will give him away, but Will Anderson Jr. will stand before him…

Let’s hope Carter gets drafted by the right team that gives him the support he needs to be the best he can be.
