France vs Morocco World Cup semi-finals: date, times, and how to watch

France will take on Morocco in the semi final of the World Cup after the European side beat England 1-2 at the Al Bayt stadium. Morocco stunned Spain before beating Portugal to become the first African team to reach the final four, and will go up against the current World Cup holders in a game that could go either way. Before that, they topped the group beating Belgium and Canada, as well as drawing with fellow semi-finalists, Croatia.

Morocco, given the side of the bracket they have come from in the tournament draw, will be the ‘away’ side, with France the ‘home’ team. The other semi-final, Argentina against Croatia, will be played at the same time the day before at the Lusail Stadium, which is also the location of the final.

When will the semi final be played?

The semi final will be played on 14 December at the Al Bayt stadium at 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET.

How to watch the semi final between France and Morocco?

The game will be available to watch on FutboTV.

AS USA prediction

As we have seen, Morocco are not to be underestimated. They put two past Belgium, shocked everyone when they held their own against Spain and stunned Portugal, sending Ronaldo home in tears. Sofyan Amrabat has made a name for himself on the global stage, becoming one of the players of the tournament, and will have another opportunity to shine. However, France have so much firepower together with a strong defence and should be too much for the African side to make their way to the final.

Prediction: France 2-0 MoroccoTeam Shield/Flag
