Derek Carr’s first Tweet after signing with Saints will give fans chills

Derek Carr reportedly signs with the Saints. He confirmed the news by tweeting an epic video that a nation of dat will love.
The New Orleans Saints got their man. After struggling with James Winston, Andy Dalton and, at times, Taysom Hill in the quarterback role in the years since Drew Brees retired, New Orleans has its strongest answer under center. Derek Carr and the team have reportedly agreed to a multi-year deal.
Carr goes from black and silver to black and gold and meets Dennis Allen in the process.
Although it looked like the New York Jets were taking a lead Sunday afternoon, the Saints’ confidence seemed to be right. It’s unclear what – if anything – they did to agree the deal on Monday, or if a combination of factors were involved.

Carr tweeted a video, captioning “Who dat” and Fleur de Lys, of Tyrann Mathieu starting the “Who dat” chant at a home game last season.
2022 has been a rough year for Saints fans. The team is weak and they didn’t look good…at all. They missed the playoffs and were only in the running for a berth at the end because the entire NFC South was hot garbage.
Injuries certainly hampered the team, but there were coaching problems and an overall lack of talent.
What’s most heartening about this signing is that the front office was clearly guilty in its pursuit of Carr, and didn’t waver. In the end, they got their man. Whether or not you agree with him being a worthy option, it’s clear the team was not found guilty in Winston or Dalton’s case. Now, they have someone they can put their trust in.
The Saints were the only team to agree to trade terms with the Raiders just to get him in their building first. After that, they continued to express interest even when he met with the New York Jets and Carolina Panthers. They rolled out the red carpet for him, and it worked.
He may be the missing piece that gets this team back into the playoffs.
Who Would Dat Nation Love Carr, and it’s clear that Carr actually loves Who Dat Nation.
Soon we will find out if anyone will beat the saints.
