look. We have to give Taylor some big credit for making such a big move. He hails from Cocoa Beach and played college ball in Florida. He was drafted by the Jaguars, so football in Florida is all he knows. He was born black and teal. For now, Taylor makes a smart career choice to hitch his wagon to the wonderful world of the Chiefs’ kingdom and everything that comes with it.
No team has repeated as Super Bowl champions since the 2003-04 New England Patriots clinched it. Tom Brady wasn’t even The GOAT at the time, he was seen as a glorified gamemaster no better than AJ McCarron, to be honest. My God, my God, how things have changed… Either way, Taylor’s national profile is skyrocketing with the AFC’s shifting allegiances this winter.
In the end, the less news he has going forward, the better. This is because if Taylor is talked about like Kelsey, Mahomes or Reid, the Chiefs have a huge problem on their hands. He wasn’t paid by the Wazoo’s Brit Fitch to be an eight-stone revolving door. No, it’s not going to happen, but you’d better believe the pressure is on Taylor to take his game to a higher level.
