New York Jets fans are eagerly awaiting the trade of Aaron Rodgers, as the Green Bay Packers quarterback should be on the move soon. Adam Schefter had some fun at their expense.

The Aaron Rodgers saga may finally be over. Rodgers has been meeting with New York Jets executives in recent days to see if their organization would be a good fit for him. The amount of persuasion necessary by New York—a team that has all the tools for a playoff run minus its quarterback—is like jumping through hoops just to pay $60 million.

But, if that’s what it takes to win some playoff appearances for the first time since Mark Sanchez, then it’s worth it.

With a deal on the horizon, Adam Schefter has had some fun at Jets fans’ expense.

And the Jets just agreed to trade….

Schefter’s trade declared that New York acquired Ravens safety Chuck Clark in the seventh inning. Ew.

Jets fans weren’t happy with Adam Shifter for the Aaron Rodgers Troll

Adam Schefter is one of two early NFL insiders on the field, the other being NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. It’s also a PR bot, basically at the mercy of agencies and owners alike, but I’ll avoid that rant for now.

Responses to Schefter’s tweet were hilarious, as fans weren’t happy with the ESPN product.

You are the worst at it

It was indeed the worst, now you realize that.

This isn’t even the first time Schefter has trolled this season regarding top business target, suggesting the Washington captains play Lamar Jackson as a way to target the Barstool Sports community. It wasn’t… really cool.

Rodgers will be traded one day soon. And when he does, hopefully Rapoport or literally anyone else will get the scoop.
