Rodgers appeared on The Pat McAfee Show on Wednesday, stating that he intends to join the New York Jets assuming they can work out commercial compensation with his current team, the Packers. Green Bay have made it clear after Rodgers’ dark decline that they believe it is now time to move on with Jordan Love as the starting quarterback.
Rodgers told all in his interview, which dates back to 2020, when the Packers picked love in the first round. The conversation had been coming for a long time, but Green Bay’s plan was held up thanks to Rodgers’ back-to-back MVPs. Now is the time for a new challenge.
